Create Collections to build a structured library for your photos and images. Collections can be created automatically during the upload process, alternatively, images can be uploaded and added to an existing collection.
Lightboxes are designed to be working folders enabling you to collate various images from your collections, these can be shared with other users, making the creation of a Lightbox a collaborative process.
Once created, Lightboxes can be used to create new Collections or can be published as Galleries. There are several gallery templates available to display your images, these include; swipe, scattered and slideshow style Galleries.
Galleries offer a very flexible and engaging way of displaying your images, they can be displayed in websites, virtual learning environments, Planet eStream Digital Signage designs and other learning platforms.
Acquire consent for the use of images with ease via digital onscreen consent forms. You can also make sure your users are aware of how they can use images by attaching licensing information e.g. Creative Commons.
Create your own series of image tags for your platform to classify images when they are added to the library. Tags are a great way of organising your library to ensure a simple browsing experience for your users.
Additional camera EXIF data is also incorporated as metadata where available, to enhance the user experience in finding relevant images. GPS location information is also included as part of the imported Camera EXIF data, images that include this data can also be searched by map location using geotagging.
Our AI engine identifies objects contained within images; this enables us to offer a fantastic assisted search option to help users find specific content within their ever growing image library.
Share and embed Galleries into websites and other platforms using built-in share links and embed codes.
The Planet eStream Unified Media Platform currently provides bespoke and comprehensive integrations for a wide range of complimentary educational platforms. These plugins will also provide access to the Galleries, Collections and Lightboxes from the Photo Module.
Uploading images is a simple process and can be achieved from any device – this makes it easy for users to quickly upload their images from any location – all popular image formats including PNG, JPEG, TIFF, EPS, PSD and RAW are supported. There is also an upload tool for the transfer of existing libraries of images to the platform, enabling you to batch import and tag content simultaneously.
