20th March 2016 - Interactive Technology in Education Conference
The Planet eStream team are heading to Finland to exhibit at ITK (Interactive Technology in Education Conference) for the first time. ITK is the largest conference in Finland relating to information and communication technology use in education, held from the 13th – 15th April in Hameenlinna, Finland.
We will be joined by Planet eStream users from the University of Eastern Finland who are one of the first educational establishments in Finland to implement Planet eStream. The University consists of three campuses across the eastern side of the country and uses Planet eStream in a number of ways to bring these together:
- Planet eSign is currently used across 10screens on one campus, and it is anticipated that Planet eSign will soon be used across all three campuses
- The medical department use lecture capture to share lectures with over 500 students across the three campuses.
- Students in the education department use the Planet eStream mobile upload tool regularly, particularly for recording and reviewing practical lessons.
Planet eStream is used by over 1,800 educational organisations globally to enhance digital learning provision for students around the world.
A full case study of Planet eStream’s use at the University will be released in the near future.
