What Live Sources will Planet eStream record from?
Planet eStream will record from composite video/s-video sources as standard such as VHS players, DVD players and cameras. We offer optional encoders which will record from SDI, HD SDI, HDMI, VGA and DVI.
Do the users accessing the system need to install any software?
No, the users access Planet eStream through a standard web browser.
Which browsers does Planet eStream support?
Planet eStream supports MS Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, opera and Apple Safari.
Does Planet eStream work on an Apple Macintosh?
Yes, Planet eStream is Mac compatible.
Does Planet estream support rss feeds?
Yes you are able to access rss feeds e.g categories, recently added, etc.
Are we able to play a disclaimer or logo before the selected video starts playing?
Yes any publishing policy can have a pre-amble set to play before the selected video.
Are you able to upload media via the web?
Yes media may be uploaded to the system via the web from any authorised user on any internet connected computer.
Does Planet estream support retrospective recording of Freeview TV programmes?
Yes, the Planet estream v5 Freeview Module supports retrospective recording.
