Is Planet eStream hosted on a webserver on the internet?
No, the Planet eStream system and all the media added to the system is hosted at your own premises. With Planet eStream you keep full control of your assets and don't have to rely on, or pay for, any external hosting providers.
Will Planet eStream live broadcast from a video/audio source?
Yes, Planet eStream will broadcast a live stream whilst archiving the content to the database.
What quality can I expect from the archived content?
Planet eStream allows the user to create their own quality profiles ranging from low resolution all the way up to full 1080p High Definition.
Can I access Planet eStream from my iPad?
Yes, Planet eStream v5 now features HTML5 for the widest mobile device support available.
Are you able to create categories
Yes, any number of categories may be created and these can be populated with content manually or automatically, using keywords.
Does Planet eStream allow you to add chapter points or markers in the archived content?
Yes, chapter points may be added during record (live) or post record; these chapters have the ability to add metadata which is then searchable in the eStream database.
Does Planet eStream feature thumbnails for the archived content?
Yes, Planet eStream features automatic thumbnail creation or, if preferred, thumbnails can be added manually.
